Owners Richard and Tammie Johnson opened The Coffee Cup opened in January 2007 in Poteau, Oklahoma.  The Coffee Cup is a locally owned, family operated coffee house serving specialty coffee, fine teas, fruit smoothies, hot panini sandwiches, fresh soups and salads, bakery items and more.

Free wi-fi, live music events and a room available for meetings and parties are some of the extras offered.

The Coffee Cup is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
